Position - Power BI and Data Engineer

Location - Dallas, TX ( Onsite position, but hybrid should be okay).

contract - 6 months

Rate - Competitive

Visa Preference - USC, GC's, L2 EAD's, H4 EAD's

Job Description:

Around 8 years of experience as a Business Intelligence and Data Engineer developer using the Microsoft Power BI and good experience as a data engineer

Experience in Building dashboards, reports and cubes using SQL, MDX, DAX or Power BI

Experience in designing effective layouts using themes and report grids

Hands on Experience in publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements

Good experience and analytical skill - Data Analysis & Data profiling

Good experience as a data engineer in any of the databases preferably using Snowflake

Experience in Data modelling including designing effective BI data models

Experience in Workspace and Capacity administration, User Management

Very strong SQL skills for verifying and creation of views/tables, functions and stored procedures

Working experience in Azure environment.

Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

Good Team player

Great interpersonal and communication skills

Optional Skills

Experience in ADF and Logic Apps will be a added advantage

Experience in designing ETL processes including knowledge of data warehousing strategies and theories will be added advantage

Knowledge in Insurance domain, especially in Agency management will be an added advantage
