Our client is looking to hire a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Specialist to manage bi-weekly payroll and day-to-day benefits administration for a multi-state workforce of around 800 employees. This role ensures accurate, compliant processing of payroll and benefits, while also supporting audits, open enrollment, and employee inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll for exempt, non-exempt, and hourly staff across the U.S. and Canada
Administer benefit programs including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and leave of absence tracking
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Support audits, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
5+ years of high volume payroll and benefits experience
Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, Rippling)
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of compliance regulations (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, etc.)
CPP or PHR a plus
