RPG Programmer

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for an RPG Analyst to join the team of one of their mid-sized clients in the Insurance industry. These candidates must be able to work in Livonia, MI 3 days a week, should have extensive experience within RPG, and needs to have a self-driven personality.

Specific responsibilities include:

Debugging and troubleshooting applications

Production support, triaging, remediation of tickets

Integrating applications on IBMi platform

Must Haves:

Collegiate degree in Computer Science or related field of study

5+ years of experience working with RPG programming systems

Extensive experience troubleshooting, developing, debugging, etc.

Strong experience with RPG ILE, FREE, and CL

Extensive experience with IBMi platform

Extensive experience utilizing SQL for RPG applications

Exceptional problem solving skills

Pluses:

Experience in Insurance industry

Experience with application integrations

Specific experience with Turnover

Specific experience with ServiceNow

Compensation: $110k to $125k. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
