About the Role:

We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team in Denton, Texas. This on-site role is essential to the smooth operation of our finance department, supporting everything from daily treasury reporting to month-end close and audits. Please note: this is an on-site role located in Denton, TX.

What You’ll Do:

Prepare and maintain daily treasury reports to monitor company cash flow.

Enter general ledger transactions and support ongoing ledger maintenance in NetSuite.

Reconcile month-end balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Deposit customer checks and maintain accurate cash receipt records.

Manage corporate payables and ensure timely processing of vendor payments.

Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reporting.

Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accurate financial records.

Assist in the filing of regulatory reports and preparation for internal and external audits.

Provide support on various ad-hoc projects within the finance team.

What We Look For:

2–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (not required).

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and standard accounting software.

Ability to identify errors and use problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies

Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Must be local to the Denton, Texas area and able to work on-site most of the time.
