Litigation Paralegal

Location: Sausalito, CA

Pay Rate and Benefits: $80,000 to $100,000 per year, along with comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, etc.

Position Type: Full-time, Direct Hire, Onsite

LHH is currently seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal to join a national law firm in their Sausalito, CA office. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with strong litigation experience to take on substantive responsibilities and be a key contributor throughout the life cycle of a case. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment.

Responsibilities:

Handle a full range of litigation support tasks from the start of a case through discovery, trial preparation, trial, and post-trial wrap-up.

Draft and manage discovery documents, including subpoenas, requests for production, and interrogatories.

Assist in drafting and organizing discovery responses, including responses to form and special interrogatories and document requests.

Maintain organized and up-to-date case files, discovery records, and supporting evidence.

Track court deadlines and help calculate and monitor key litigation dates.

Prepare trial materials, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.

Coordinate logistics for depositions, mediations, expert meetings, and court appearances.

Provide research assistance, conduct cite checks, and help with document analysis and preparation.

Support case closure efforts, including final documentation and archiving.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a civil litigation paralegal, preferably with civil defense firms.

Paralegal Certificate required.

bachelor’s degree, preferred.

Strong understanding of the litigation process, including discovery and trial support.

Proficient in preparing and responding to discovery, and in managing large volumes of case documents.

Experience with state and federal court rules, including filing procedures and deadlines.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail in document preparation and review.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
