Location : Dallas TX –Hybrid

Job Type – Fulltime

Job Details / Description - Looking for candidate 8-10 years of experience

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Network Implementation Engineer join our Network Implementation team. In this role, you will oversee and execute the deployment, configuration, and optimization of enterprise network solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Cisco networking, Palo Alto firewalls, wireless technologies, and Meraki solutions. This role involves leading implementation projects, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring that network solutions align with business and technical objectives.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, CWNP) are highly desirable.

This is a hybrid role for candidates to be based in the Dallas TX area.

What you will do:

Leadership & Team Management

Lead and mentor a team of network implementation engineers, fostering skill development and collaboration.

Serve as the technical escalation point for complex network implementation issues.

Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.

Network Implementation

Design, deploy, and implement Cisco networking solutions, including routers, switches (Catalyst, Nexus), and wireless LAN controllers.

Configure and implement Palo Alto firewalls, leveraging advanced security features such as App-ID, Threat Prevention, and VPNs.

Deploy and manage wireless solutions, including conducting RF site surveys, optimizing wireless coverage, and configuring access points.

Implement and manage Cisco Meraki solutions, including switches, wireless, and security appliances, ensuring seamless integration across the enterprise network.

Network Optimization & Troubleshooting

Optimize network performance by configuring routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and implementing QoS policies.

Troubleshoot complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient resolution.

Analyze network performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Security & Compliance

Ensure network implementations adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA, NIST).

Implement secure VPN solutions (IPSec, SSL) and enforce firewall policies for data protection.

Collaborate with security teams to integrate Zero Trust principles into the network design.

Documentation & Reporting

Develop and maintain detailed network implementation plans, diagrams, and configuration documentation.

Provide post-implementation support and training to internal teams.

Present project status updates and technical insights to stakeholders and management.

Who you are:

Required Skills:

Expertise in Cisco technologies, including Catalyst/Nexus switches, routers, and wireless solutions (CCNP/CCIE preferred).

Proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls (PCNSE certification preferred).

Strong experience with wireless technologies, including RF planning, Cisco WLC, and Meraki wireless solutions.

Hands-on experience deploying and managing Cisco Meraki products (e.g., MR, MS, MX, Meraki Dashboard).

Advanced knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, IPv4/IPv6).

Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, Meraki Insights).

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies and hybrid cloud integrations.

Familiarity with automation tools (Python, Ansible) to streamline deployment processes.

Experience with network segmentation and Zero Trust architecture.

Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in network implementation, design, and leadership roles.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, CWNP) are highly desirable.
