Job Description:

Designs secure, scalable AWS infrastructure supporting the data platform. Ensures security, scalability, and cost-efficiency in architecture choices.

Deep knowledge of AWS Services like S3, Redshift, Glue, VPC, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch

Infrastructure security and networking (VPC, Subnets, Routing)

Cost optimization and scaling strategies

Familiarity with Redshift Spectrum, Athena

Experience with EMR/Glue hybrid setup

Understanding of compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)

AWS CloudFormation or Terraform

AWS Pricing Calculator

AWS Budgets, Cost Explorer

Architecture diagramming tools (Lucidchart, Draw.io)
