An early-stage YC-backed startup revolutionizing compliance in banking and fintech with AI agents are looking for a Founding Engineer to join their team.
What will I be doing?
Build ML systems from proof-of-concept to production deployment
Work with Python, LLMs, VLMs, traditional ML, Django, Docker, Postgres, and AWS
Make key technical decisions that will shape the company's future
Work directly with founders to design and implement our AI compliance solutions
Help build and grow an engineering team as we scale
What we're looking for:
Strong Python coding skills with experience taking ML systems from notebook to production
Comfort working with modern AI tools including LLMs and VLMs
High-energy self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment
Pragmatic approach to technical debt and system design
Client-focused mindset - building solutions based on actual customer needs
Ownership mentality - seeing problems and solving them without waiting for direction
