Key Responsibilities:

Safety & Compliance:

Maintain a safe work environment across all operations and tasks.

Drive safety initiatives to achieve Incident and Injury-Free goals, supporting site safety action plans and industry best practices.

Lead safety meetings, including orientations, hazard analyses, job safety assessments, and near-miss reviews.

Quality Control & Project Execution:

Ensure all work aligns with client specifications.

Develop and implement Project Quality Control Plans and Environmental Control Plans.

Create additional required plans, such as heavy lift plans, towing plans, and pipeline crossing plans.

Ensure all project activities adhere to best practices and contract requirements.

Review and manage client submittals to ensure quality compliance.

Monitor and document compliance with all project specifications, identifying and addressing any non-compliance issues promptly.

Project Coordination & Documentation:

Maintain accurate documentation of non-compliance issues, clarifications, and potential claims.

Prepare and participate in client meetings, ensuring thorough documentation and meeting minutes.

Conduct regular site visits to verify that equipment, materials, and work products meet client specifications.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Ocean Engineering preferred) or Construction Management from an accredited institution.

Experience & Skills:

3-5+ years experience within the marine construction, excavation, earthworks or water resources fields

Working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, and the USACE Resident Management System (RMS)

Strong knowledge of quality control, safety protocols, and contract compliance.

Ability to analyze and document project risks, claims, and compliance issues.

Excellent communication and organizational skills for meeting coordination and documentation.
