Job Summary:

Quitman County PreK12 School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Athletic Director to lead and oversee the school's athletic programs. This position is ideal for a visionary leader who can support student-athletes, coaches, and the community while fostering a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

As the school is currently in the midst of constructing a new athletic complex, including a softball field, baseball field, and track, the Athletic Director will play a crucial role in coordinating facility development, ensuring program alignment with construction timelines, and establishing a strong foundation for future athletic success.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and direction for all school athletic programs.

Mentor coaches for various sports teams.

Ensure compliance with GHSA and district athletic policies and procedures.

Develop and manage the athletic department budget, including fundraising initiatives.

Coordinate game schedules, transportation, and event logistics.

Foster a positive and inclusive athletic culture that emphasizes academic and athletic excellence.

Promote strong community engagement and support for school athletics.

Manage facility usage, maintenance, and improvement plans.

Support the development and completion of the new athletic complex, working closely with school administrators and construction teams.
