We are looking for an Android Developer to join a dynamic team solving real-time cyber challenges, working in the Dulles, VA area. The position requires a candidate who enjoys working on mission-focused objectives closely aligned with end users. This role will focus on developing custom software tools and techniques for the Android platform.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop custom software for the Android platform
Debug and diagnose issues using both COTS and GOTS tools
Lead and mentor junior developers to meet mission objectives
Understand and apply knowledge of network fundamentals
Develop documentation to support developed software and techniques
Perform reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis
Develop proof-of-concept exploit software and work with Computer Network Operations (CNO) tools and techniques
Requirements:
At least 5 years of relevant experience in mobile software development
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
Proficient in Python and C development
Experience with UNIX applications and mission-relevant platforms
Expertise in network sockets programming and packet-level protocols
Skilled in code tracing using WinDbg, gdb, and IDA Pro
Experience in reverse engineering native binaries
Familiarity with Unix kernel internals and object file formats (e.g., ELF)
Understanding of security protection mechanisms (ASLR, DEP, NX) and evasion techniques
Experience with version control tools such as git, GitLab
US citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance required; MUST be willing to be put in for a Full Scope Polygraph
Desired Experience:
Native-level mobile development experience
Experience with vulnerability analysis
Assembly programming, preferably ARM
Experience with Objective-C, Swift, or C++ programming
Understanding of mobile security mechanisms such as SELinux and application sandboxing
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
