Job Description

Hagie Manufacturing is seeking a qualified candidate to be a part of our Warehouse teams as a material handler. This position will report to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

Moves products and material safely and efficiently throughout the factory to support production and service requirements.

Reads production schedules, work orders, or requisitions to determine items to be pulled and distributed.

Transacts material in the system accurately according to the type of transaction (receipts, issues, transfers).

Audits completeness of kits and product being delivered to each reporting department.

Ability to complete work in multiple areas of the material flow department.

Use a PC or tablet to manage daily schedule, access work instructions, complete required transactions and report issues.

Operate powered and non-powered equipment such as forklift, electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, hand truck, overhead hoist, etc.

Qualifications

Must be a self-starter and able to work independently or with a team.

Good oral and written communication.

Must be organized and detail oriented.

Ability to follow Standard Work.

Must be safety conscience and able to follow all safety policies.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks quickly and accurately

Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions and engineering prints

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Physical Requirements:

Lifting up to 35 lbs. repeatedly.

Standing for extended periods of time.

Bending/stooping/walking/kneeling/etc.

Use of proper PPE (metatarsal boots, bump cap, safety glasses, hearing protection, cut-resistant gloves).

What Makes You Stand Out:

Previous forklift and other powered industrial equipment experience

Previous warehouse experience

Experience using a PC for detailed tasks

Experience with XA/Browser or XALT
