Job Description

JOB TITLE: Custom Woodworker

DEPARTMENT: Custom

REPORTS TO:

FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt (hourly)

Position Summary: Complex shaping, assembly, curves and angle work, grid work, screens, product repair including onsite repair work, provide advice to sales and engineering.

Essential Functions:

Perform department functions summarized above

Responsible for quality of product

Responsible for preventative maintenance when assigned by department leader

Work overtime when required to meet customer delivery commitments

Work in a safe manner and keep work area clean

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or G.E.D is a plus.

Manual machine for Misc. Hardware

Manual machine for Weather Stripping

Molding Application

Exterior Glass & Molding (SG/PG)

Exterior Panel & Molding (SG/PG)

Interior Glass & Molding (SG/PG)

Interior Panel & Molding (SG/PG)

Cut, Cope & Apply SDL

Curved/Irregular Molding Application

Removal of Copes (Hand Routing)
