Job Description

Thompson Fabricating Inc, a steel fabrication and manufacturing shop, is seeking a motivated individual to fill a full-time Fabricator job opening. Thompson Fabricating has been providing high quality containers to the waste industry for 30 years.

We are looking for a Fabricator for a fast paced, assembly line work for our Steel Rolloff container manufacturing facility. This individual must be able to operate shear, rolls, press brake and ironworker to prefabricate all containers. Cut and form all steel used as needed. Unload trucks in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Must be able to cut material as needed for production in advance

Ability to read a tape measure

Must be able to read a tape measure

Ability to use overhead crane

Ability to read and understand the production schedules to ensure materials are ready ahead of scheduled production

Must be able to work in a Team setting

Physical Abilities:

Must be able to lift & carry up to 65 #

Education and Experience:

1-3 years of manufacturing experience

Full time, first shift, Monday thru Friday. Only dependable, reliable, highly motivated & qualified applicants should apply.
