Description:
This position is responsible for preparing the railcars for loading of new automobiles. Preparing a railcar for loading consists of inspecting tie down devices (chocks), doors, decks, grates, door edge protection and side panels. Use of hand tools- wrenches, hammers, and grease guns is common to make repairs to defects found and backpack blowers used to clean debris from the decks. All work must be performed within the standards of the AAR and automobile manufacturer. All Titan team members must ensure that all company guidelines are met, and that all safety rules are followed when performing duties. May be asked to perform other duties as requested or required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work safe and follow all company rules and guidelines
Bend, stoop, kneel and squat throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to use hand tools and backpack blower.
Follow AAR rules and guidelines.
Keep good record of repairs made.
Work closely with customers and other contractors.
Performs other duties that may be assigned.
Education and Experience:
No experience required - training will be provided
Requirements
Must possess a valid Driver's License
Must successfully pass a background check (post offer)
Work Environment:
Titan team members will be regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and elements, noise, and fumes from gas, oil, and grease

Monday – Friday- Occasional weekend work required
