POSITION SUMMARY:
The Service Coordinator will be the main point of contact and support for Goodwill EARN & Work Ready participants. They will provide strength-based, holistic case management services related to all aspects of a participant’s life. The primary case management services will include assessing family strengths and
barriers, goal planning, service coordination, and providing resources and referrals – as well as the support needed to access them. The Goodwill EARN/Work Ready holistic program design includes identifying ways to serve the entire family through multigenerational activities.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
Consider other relevant assessment information, in collaboration with other team membersand outside providers. – when helping participants develop a plan for program participation
Collect thorough information about participants and their families in areas such as existing supports, child care, transportation, housing, education, criminal background, employment, medical, mental health, substance use, barriers, strengths, and goals
In partnership with participants, work with EARN/WR Team, and relevant outside providers, to develop a Program Service Plan – focused on program goals and planned services to achieve them
Ensure all required and other relevant information is properly documented in client files and case notes
Advocate for the participant with internal and external providers, ensuring their voices and priorities are fairly considered
Communicate production/job specific expectations to the client; meet regularly with site management to ensure communication of business needs

External Hiring Range: $37,960.00 up to $39,478.40/year
Schedule: Monday through Friday (8:00am – 4:00pm) Schedule can vary depending on department needs.
Travel Required: Occasional travel is required, to Goodwill and community sites in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent AND 5 years of Experience locating resources and services for at-risk and/or vulnerable population
Associates degree AND 3 years of Experience locating resources and services for at-risk and/or vulnerable population
Bachelor’s degree AND 1 year of Experience locating resources and services for at-risk and/or vulnerable population
Required Experience: Experience should include some or all of the following: Goal Planning, supporting clients with issues related to poverty, child care, transportation, food and housing insecurity, basic needs, unemployment, underemployment, criminal backgrounds, mental healthand D&A issues, ID/DD.
REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Qualified candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.
Candidates are expected to provide current, valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH) prior to their first day of employment.
