Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating both milling and lathe machines daily. You will perform CNC machining operations specifically on plastic materials such as seals, call up and load programs into the machining center, change collets and tooling, and make necessary program adjustments. Additionally, you will read blueprints of work orders, check dimensions and tolerances of produced parts, and make offset adjustments to ensure the product meets specifications.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate milling and lathe machines.
Perform CNC machining operations on plastic materials.
Load and call up programs into the machining center.
Change collets and tooling as needed.
Make program adjustments to maintain accuracy.
Read blueprints and work orders.
Check dimensions and tolerances of parts produced.
Make offset adjustments to maintain product specifications.Essential Skills
10+ years of manufacturing experience with CNC equipment.
Ability to operate lathes with Fanuc controls running G&M code language.
Proficiency in using measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and go/no-go gauges.
Ability to read and edit G&M codes.Additional Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience setting up CNC lathes.
Skill in accurately performing program adjustments.

Work Environment
Work in a very clean environment that is heated in the winter and air-conditioned in the summer. This facility specializes in producing seals and operates in a cell-based environment running 1-2 machines. You will be constantly standing, performing setups, and operating machines. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6am to 3:30pm, with a half-day on Fridays. Additional overtime may be required on Fridays, but weekends are off.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
