Database Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Database Analyst to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage data systems, develop reports, and ensure the quality and accessibility of critical information. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain reports for internal business platforms, including Salesforce and learning management systems.

• Identify and resolve data accuracy and quality issues within databases primarily using SQL, Oracle experience is a plus.

• Design and execute queries for business intelligence, create batch processes, and support database development.

• Engage with stakeholders to understand operational needs and system requirements.

• Collaborate with IT teams and managers to identify and implement process improvements.

• Provide user support, develop new reports, and align system processes with organizational goals.

• Analyze and present data in a clear and actionable format for various audiences.

• Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of internal systems and applications.

• Stay updated on industry trends by attending workshops and reviewing relevant publications.

• Strong skills in data analysis and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.

• Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, and business intelligence tools.

• Experience with relational and non-relational database structures.

• Familiarity with Salesforce configuration, data dashboards, and reporting.

• Knowledge of database systems such as DB2 and Microsoft SQL.

• Understanding of backup technologies and data recovery processes.

• Background in the insurance industry or similar fields is a plus.

• Ability to implement A/B testing and assess results effectively.
