VP of Data Management & Architecture

Job Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a VP of Data Management & Architecture in the Investment Management industry. The role, based in Bethesda, Maryland, involves developing and executing a comprehensive enterprise data strategy and building a high-performing data team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive enterprise data strategy that is in alignment with IT and business objectives.

• Design and implement a secure, scalable data infrastructure within the Azure ecosystem.

• Lead a high-performing data team, including both onshore and offshore data engineers and analysts.

• Foster a data-driven culture through collaboration with business leaders, technology teams, and executives.

• Establish and scale the Data Management and Analytics team from inception.

• Implement robust frameworks for data governance, data quality, and metadata management.

• Define and enforce best practices for data engineering, documentation, and delivery processes.

• Use Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, and ERP Solutions in managing data.

• Apply Agile Scrum, Auditing, AWS Technologies and Computer Hardware skills in executing tasks.

• Manage contracts and utilize CRM for efficient customer relationship management.• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is expected

• Experience with Cloud Technologies is mandatory

• Must possess strong CRM skills

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required

• Expertise in implementing ERP Solutions is essential

• Agile Scrum methodology knowledge is necessary

• Auditing skills are crucial

• Proficiency in AWS Technologies is a must

• Knowledge of Computer Hardware is required

• Experience in drafting and managing Contracts is necessary
