Position Description:

Estimates workload to establish completion dates.

Assists mechanical engineers in the planning and testing of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery, such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.

Maintaining Caterpillar 3516 ULB, Caterpillar 3606 A3, 3616 A4, Ariel reciprocating compressor JGT-4, JGC-4, KBZ-6 frame maintenance. Diaphragm, centrifugal charge pumps, triplex, and horizontal pump maintenance.

Maintaining Sullair, Atlas Copco rotary screw air compressors. Vapor recovery unit maintenance, natural gas rotary screw compressors.

Operation of overhead cranes, operation of crane trucks. Able to

operate Forklift and Man lift.

Helps prepare proposals and cost estimates.

Actively participate in the use of all on the job safety tools

Identify any safety issues associated with job end ensure removal/mitigation prior to working

Execute work as planned

Record technical history as required by workgroup. (Global Reliability Tool (GRT), data sheet, etc.)

Request permits and notify Supervisor if permit cannot be issued within 30 minutes of Requested time

Requirements:

10+ years of relevant Oil and Gas field experience

Experience with Caterpillar 3516 ULB, 3606 A3, 3616 A4, Ariel reciprocating compressors (JGT-4, JGC-4, KBZ-6)

Skilled in maintaining diaphragm and centrifugal charge pumps, triplex and horizontal pumps

Familiarity with Sullair, Atlas Copco rotary screw air compressors

Experience with vapor recovery units and natural gas rotary screw compressors

Lifting and rigging expertise, including operation of overhead cranes and crane trucks

Proficient in operating forklifts and man lifts

Applicable certifications or equivalent professional experience

Strong communication skills to describe field conditions and recommend solutions

Effective team player with the ability to collaborate with others without direct authority

Ability to work under tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
