Description:
The Process Engineer will analyze and optimize our quartz beneficiation processes to improve efficiency and ensure product quality. This includes process troubleshooting, process analysis, process documentation, quality control, project management, process automation and quality assurance. He/she will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement process improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of Chesapeake Minerals.

Responsibilities
Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and ensure product quality and safety.
Assist in the development, implementation, and management of CAPEX and OPEX projects as required.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of new processes, technologies and equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements in all process engineering activities.
Collect, monitor and analyze process data to identify trends and develop solutions for achieving optimal performance targets and reliability.
Collaborate with managers, operators, and quality control teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, run time, yield and scrap rate and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
Lead process validation activities, including protocol development, execution and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures.
Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.
Perform plant operator duties when required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
1 - 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to trouble shoot and solve complex problems.
Clear communicator both in verbal and written form.
Strong team orientation with the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization.
Strong time management and prioritization skills.
