PROJECTS

Support implementation of Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies at the shop floor, guided by the local Industrial Performance Engineer at the facility (VPA – Vallourec Performance Analyst).

The projects under the scope for the internship are:

· Support implementation of digital system for Shop Floor Management Routines. The intern will be trained in the new tool and will help implement it.

· Support the Continuous Improvement Teams on specific topics related to improving Industrial Performance (Cycle time studies, Line Balancing, SMED, TPM, 5S, Inventory Management)

· Support implementation and standardization of digital systems for Operations Tracking and Quality (RTP, DLS)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Industrial Engineering preferred. Other engineering is accepted.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

· Advanced knowledge in the Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint)

· Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma

· Power BI

· Visio
