Job Summary
We're seeking a Senior IT Desktop Support Specialist to provide advanced technical support and help lead our IT operations. In this role, you'll not only resolve complex issues but also contribute to process improvements, automation, and the adoption of emerging technologies. You'll collaborate with engineers and IT leadership to enhance our systems and support infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Tier 2/3 support for hardware, software (Windows/macOS, Office 365, engineering tools), and network issues.
Mentor junior support staff and assist with escalations.
Lead onboarding/offboarding processes, including advanced access management and security compliance.
Develop and maintain knowledge base documentation and standard operating procedures.
Optimize AV/meeting room tech for hybrid work environments.
Identify opportunities for automation/AI integration to improve efficiency.
Assist with IT project management (e.g., hardware refreshes, software rollouts).
Qualifications & Skills
4–7 years of IT support experience, including advanced troubleshooting.
Expertise in Windows/macOS, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management (Intune, SCCM, etc.).
Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for automation.
