AvL Technologies is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth by engaging with the Department of Defense and other US Government customers. This remote role requires minimal supervision and significant knowledge of AvL products and the industry.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow key accounts to achieve financial targets, engage new customers, and provide monthly updates to senior management. Attend industry meetings, support marketing activities, and collaborate on strategic direction. Communicate customer requirements to the Product Engineering team, serve as the primary contact for quotations and technical assistance, and lead significant proposals. Facilitate contract-related activities and post-award project milestones. Provide exceptional support to key US Government customers, offer timely pricing and technical support, maintain face-to-face communications through regular travel, and actively participate in sales meetings.
Travel:
25-50% domestic travel required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
At least 3 years of SATCOM industry experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experienced with collaborative communication tools (MS Teams, Zoom, etc.)
Work authorization/security clearance requirements
