What you'll get to do:
Lead the design, development, and launch of new fastening tools and products for decking, roofing, and structural applications.
Collaborate across engineering, operations, and product teams to bring forward-thinking ideas to life.
Apply your knowledge of metallurgy, coatings, and material science to improve product performance and durability.
Support the full product lifecycle—prototyping, testing, analysis, and refinement.
Guide and mentor junior engineers, contributing to a strong technical team culture.
Engage with overseas manufacturing partners to support quality, sourcing, and cost-effectiveness.
Stay current on industry trends and new technologies to continuously improve product design.
Help strengthen and grow a portfolio of premium, highly recognized fastening brands.
What will make you successful:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field.
10+ years of experience in mechanical/product design, ideally with fasteners, construction products, or tools.
Advanced proficiency with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Catia.
Strong background in materials, coatings, and mechanical systems.
Experience working with global supply chains and vendors.
Creative thinker with a track record of bringing ideas to market.
Excellent communicator and team collaborator.
Eager to mentor others and contribute to a high-impact team.
