Through its projects, Eiffage has a strong ambition: to actively contribute to building a more sober and sustainable world. This commitment to social and environmental responsibility is embodied in an ambitious low-carbon strategy aimed at accelerating the ecological transition that is present in our various projects.

To achieve these projects, we share the same values: Responsibility, Exemplarity, Trust, Transparency, Lucidity, Courage and Pugnacity.

Major projects that you may already be familiar with the Millau Viaduct, the Greater Paris metro lines and stations, the Louis Vuitton Foundation, and the Bordeaux tramway, to name but a few.

YOUR FUTURE ENVIRONMENT

Eiffage, Budimex and Rizzani de Eccher, in a consortium, are carrying out the civil engineering and track-laying work on the 230-kilometre Latvian section of the new Rail Baltica high-speed rail line.

The contract includes

175 engineering structures

11 wildlife crossings

The aim of this line is to integrate the Baltic States into the European rail network by creating a link between Helsinki (Finland) and Warsaw (Poland). The cross-border rail link will further the development of a single European market by facilitating trade through interoperability between the various transport networks (land, river and air). It will also help to increase the share of the most environmentally friendly modes of transport.

The section won by ERB Rail is designed for a speed of 249 km/h for passenger trains and 120 km/h for freight trains.
