Process Engineer

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Process Engineer for a company based in Winfield, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize operational efficiency with a manufacturing company.

To succeed in this role, you must take a proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical, data- driven solutions.

Pay Rate

$20 to $40 per hour based on experience

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.

Process Engineer Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification.

• Design and implement process control strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

• Create and maintain documentation such as process flow diagrams (PDFs), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process instructions.

• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process performance and identify trends.

Process Engineer Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.

• Proficiency with CAD software, ERP systems, process simulation tools.

•Working knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.

• Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or higher).
