Multi Cloud Engineer

Infrastructure Skills :

Experience 5 to 15 years

Mandatory:

• Strong experience in system administration and deploy the cloud solutions through Infrastructure as code.

• Strong knowledge in AWS or Azure administration, and support experience

• Strong knowledge in the services for not limited to

o AWS or Azure Security (IAM, Roles, Policies, etc.)

o S3, EC2, ECS, EBS, AMI . Blob etc

o VPC, Subnet, Route Table, Security Groups, NACL, VPG etc

o SSM, Patch Manager, Azure Update Manager etc

o Elastic Load Balancing, Auto Scaling, WAF,

o CloudWatch, Cloudtrail, AWS Config, Log analytics etc

o CloudFormation Template

o AWS or Azure Costs and Pricing

o RDS setup and Configuration

Azure :

• Experience in IPSec VPN between AWS and Customer Data Center.

• Experience in any vRouter, Proxy Server Configuration and Setup.

• Understanding network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP, DHCP, TCP,IP etc)

• Understanding and Practicing the Security Best Practices.

• Excellent knowledge in ITSM Process.

Tooling :

• Build and extend monitoring and dashboard solutions (Splunk, Grafana, Cloudwatch etc) for internal and external clients.

• Experience in Configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, GitHub etc)

• Finops Tools like CludBolt, CloudCheckr or relevant

Other Preferred Skills:

• 24*7 Support of Cloud Offerings

o including operations, incidents, service requests and execution of changes

• Proactively and continuously improve the service through

o driving further automation

o fixing incident root causes

o suggesting more agile and effective ways of working

• Take full ownership of incoming actions and issues and drive them to resolution

o Work within a tight Cloud Operations multi-skilled team

o Consulting with other team members to extend your reach to get to success

o Sharing back what you’ve learned

• Handle some simple NSSR (Non Standard Service requests) logged by customers: provide proposal to customer and implement Work within a tight Cloud Operations multi-skilled team

• Ensure contractual SLAs are met

• Conform and adhere to change management process for customer environments.

• Leverage existing full/partial automation from other teams to expedite deployments

• Understand and contribute to processes and tools used by team

• Identify areas of operations quality deficit or automation opportunities

• Contribute relevant automation and operation artefacts back to Cloud offerings

• Support POC deployments as required for client or automation development
