Cardinal Staffing is currently looking for press operators in Dundee, MI!

Shift's are:6:00am-44:40pm Monday-Friday 430pm-3am Monday-FridayBase Pay: $17/hour: wage increase after skill set advancement (usually within 6 months) Key Responsibilities• Operate mechanical or hydraulic stamping presses to shape and form metal components.• Load raw metal materials and unload finished stamped parts.• Set up and change dies as needed based on production specifications.• Inspect stamped parts for quality defects such as burrs, misalignments, or improper dimensions.• Use measuring tools like calipers and micrometers for quality assurance.• Monitor machines during operation and address malfunctions or stoppages.• Follow strict safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).• Perform routine maintenance such as lubrication and cleaning of machines.• Communicate with supervisors and maintenance teams regarding machine issues or quality concerns.Skills and Qualifications• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.• Ability to read blueprints and follow production specifications.• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle heavy materials.• Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal stamping environment preferred.At Cardinal Staffing, a Surestaff Company, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
