Supervisor, Manufacturing - Welding & Fabrication

THE ROLE: Supervisor, Manufacturing LOCATION: Tolleson, AZ REPORTS TO: General Manager POSITION TYPE: Full-time, Exempt OUR OPPORTUNITY: Under the direction of the General Manager, the Manufacturing Supervisor ensures the production of company products at the highest quality at the lowest possible cost, meeting company performance standards and customer specifications and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments, and directly supervise the systems integration and test functions to ensure the production of company products.

* Plan production schedules, review component parts, and sub-assembly availability against build schedule.

* Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and direct the setup and adjustments of machines.

* Ensure the training of new and present employees in the processes and methods required to achieve the company’s standards for quality, quantity, and safety.

* Interpret company policies to associates and enforce safety regulations, work rules, and attendance policy.

Administers progressive discipline as necessary.

* Act as a technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems; analyze and resolve work problems and assist workers in solving work problems.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience in lieu of degree.

* Minimum of two years’ experience leading or supervising teams in manufacturing environment including accountability or input into hiring and termination decisions.

* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively manage a team of employee owners.

* Good organizational and time management skills.

* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) * Experience with Epicor or other ERP systems (e.g.
