Job Title: Associate Manager, Project Engineering

Location: Surabaya

Department: Engineering

As an Associate Manager, Project Site Engineering, you will be responsible for SCJ Manufacturing Surabaya site engineering activity and drive all base business capital projects and lead Project Management implementation in the plan and will be part of Site Steering Committee and provide engineering support to Plant Maintenance, SHE, Quality Improvement & Production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manages daily engineering department activities and communicates with regional engineering to design new processes, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures

Responsible to driving capability building of engineering and maintenance teams by supporting maintenance teams in problem solving, analyzing line losses, line breakdown

Provides project management and engineering support activities for the plant. Base Business and Global Pool, total capital project threshold below USD 1,000,000. Above threshold capital project will be as supporting engineer

Responsible for plant capital management. Develops and maintains a master schedule for all assigned base business capital engineering projects and informs management and project sponsors the status of project milestones and any corrective action recommended or taken

Supports, investigates, drives, and provides technical leadership in implementing cost saving projects, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Improvements and LEAN to existing processes and support systems in the region, prepares detailed capital budget forecasts for safety, productivity, and quality driven projects. Works directly with plant manager and regional hub engineering leader for roll-up into Cor-plan

Provides engineering support activities for manufacturing facilities, which include major CAPEX projects, equipment upgrades, facility expansion and/or upgrades, major equipment and system purchases, installation, commissioning, and startup, provide common tools for estimating, project documentation, and equipment evaluation to improve speed to market on new products

Support site Production, Quality, SHE and Maintenance Team on trouble shooting and continuous improvement, ensures effective communication with the engineering work force, related department and third parties (contractors, supplier, etc)

Perform individual development plans and training program for internal team

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

Minimum 5 years of experience in related field

Experienced in Project Management

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical and etc)

Fluent in English & Bahasa Indonesia

Background of FMCG or Pharmaceutical industry
