Development Engineer

Join the VSSI, llc team as an Entry level Process Development Engineer in Grapevine, TX 76051!

Schedule: 6:45 am to 3:15 pm

Days: Monday to Friday

We are seeking a talented individual with a passion. As a Process Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing processes for the production of various.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, document, and implement comprehensive SOPs for production and operational processes.

Analyze current manufacturing or service workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

Design and test new processes or modifications that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and maintain quality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, quality, maintenance) to ensure alignment on process standards.

Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to support process improvement initiatives.

Conduct time studies, process mapping, and root cause analyses.

Qualifications:

Proven experience developing SOPs and leading process optimization projects.

Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Proficient in process mapping tools, data analysis, and project management.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Must have a HIgh School or equivelent

Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
