SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a contracts administrator to join our team. This person can be onsite/hybrid. The selected candidate will support all aspects of the contracts’ function, including the negotiation and administration of a wide range of contracts. You would also assist in the preparation of price/cost proposals, contract administration, maintaining contract files, contract close-outs, and providing guidance on all contractual matters involving compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), supplemental regulations, and SRC policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do

Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners

Analyze requests for proposals and contract requirements, special provisions and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations and corporate policies and procedures for government and commercial contracts

Support cost/pricing strategy for proposals and compliant proposal responses

Analyze proposal and contract documents to identify risks and opportunities

Administer assigned contracts to include all day-to-day activities; participate in program management reviews and other programmatic meetings

Provide contract advice to the program team and monitor aspects of the program for compliance to the contract

Maintain high ethical standards toward SRC and the customer

Respond to customer inquiries and communicate terms and requirements of contracts to SRC management and technical team

Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract and proposal files and contract management system entries

Participate in special projects or initiatives for contracts as required

Work 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day Monday - Friday between 8:00 AM EST - 5:00 PM EST

What You’ll Bring

Education: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field

Experience: Two or more years of contract-related experience, preferably in a government contracting environment

Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, Truthful Cost or Pricing, CAS, commercial contracting, and/or technical data rights

Understanding of financial principles related to government contracting

Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of customers

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience using MS Office suite

Must be willing to travel up to 10 percent

Must meet eligibility requirements to obtain secret security clearance, having secret clearance is preferred

Support of a variety of contract types (FFP and Cost-Type) and understand their unique requirements

Direct experience in the administration of production contracts

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $69,000 to $95,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
