Electronics Test Technician, on-site

Our client is seeking an ESS Test Technician to join their team. In this role, you will support the Engineering and Production groups in setting up and operating equipment used for environmental tests, including vibration systems and thermal cycling. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced testing equipment to simulate temperature and vibration conditions.

• Set up and operate test equipment such as Vibration Systems and Thermal Cycling systems to perform environmental tests.

• Utilize and monitor various instrumentation, including:

o Thermocouples and data loggers for temperature measurements

o Vibration control systems and accelerometer systems

o Pressure and air flow instrumentation

o Various test and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analyzers, and other electronic instrumentation.

• Conduct simulated environmental tests following standard procedures, work instructions, and/or verbal instructions from engineering teams.

• Process and compile test data into complete packages, including defect recording and quality information.

• Maintain test logbooks with relevant test information.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Direct experience working with Unholtz Dickie or similar vibration systems in an engineering qualification environment.

• Experience with vibration profile development.

• Experience using Thermotron Temperature Chambers.

• Basic computer skills in a MS Windows environment.

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Prior experience in environmental testing, including thermal cycling and vibration testing.

Work Schedule:

• 4/10 work schedule (Monday-Thursday, typically 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM).
