AutoCAD Drafter, on-site

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to join their team. The CAD Draftsman will be responsible for providing precise CADD drawings for multiple departments, including Process, Electrical, Mechanical, and Piping. This role demands a high level of accuracy and proficiency with Autodesk CAD software, as well as a strong understanding of engineering drawing standards.

• Create and modify detailed CADD drawings for Process, Electrical, Mechanical, and Piping departments.

• Work closely with engineers and other departments to ensure drawings meet project specifications.

• Assist in the development of P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and other related drawing work.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure accuracy and consistency across all project drawings.

• Perform revisions and updates to drawings as necessary.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Software

• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Skills Preferred:

• Revit knowledge is a plus

Experience Required:

• 1-2 years of experience working with P&ID and/or Revit drawing work in AutoCAD

• Demonstrated experience in drafting and technical drawing work

Experience Preferred:

• Experience in a similar CAD drafting role within the engineering or construction industry is highly beneficial

Education Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
