DESKTOP ANALYST 2

nnnnnThe Desktop Analyst 2 is a designated point of contact for many departmental customers and will provide analysis, support and maintenance of desktop computing environment, applications, hardware and related technologies utilized in these departments.

The Desktop Analyst 2 will optimize IT performance, analyze and resolve issues, incidents, and problems in a timely and accurate manner; provide end-user assistance where required; and perform on-site equipment maintenance and repair services as needed.

The Desktop Analyst 2 will also be involved in equipment receipt, deployment, and inventory and will receive guidance from the Department Executive 5 daily.nnnnnnnnnnnnnRequired TasksnnnnnnSupport critical activities as requirednAssist other IT service areas such as server, network, telecommunication and application groupsnAcquire and develop knowledge on all supported technologiesnTravel to various locations, as needednnnnnnnnnnnnnnEducational/Experience RequirementsnnnnnnBachelors Degree ORnAssociate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar discipline from a recognized college or university and two years of experience providing desktop support in an environment with at least 100 users ORnHigh School Diploma or equivalent and four years of experience providing desktop support in an environment with at least 100nA valid driver's licensennPreferred Licensing and/or Certifications: COMPTIA A+nnnnn
