1. It is responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of the crane, complying with the standards and procedures established for this process, and understanding in its use and handling the scope, reduction, restriction and lifting capacity of the load from 200 to 300 tons, as is the actual height under the hook
2. Observes load hook up and determines safety of load.
3. Manipulates crane control to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.
4. Cleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanism.
5. Inspects crane for defective parts and notifies the supervisor of the defects or malfunctions.
6. Loads, transports, and unloads materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
7. May assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
8. Performs minor maintenance or cleaning activities of tools and equipment.
9. Safely operate crane, hoist mechanism, tools and materials.
10. Assists in assembly and disassembly of cranes.
11. Plans and coordinates crane movement & set-up.
12. Must be punctual and maintain a dependable level of attendance in accordance to project work rules.
13. Adheres to all safety procedures.
14. Typically requires a minimum of 48 months industrial construction experience.
