Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design and coordination of complex building projects across a variety of sectors. This role is fully remote but requires periodic travel to Indianapolis, IN for client meetings and site inspections. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage both project deliverables and junior engineers.

Job Duties:

Lead design efforts for both new construction and renovation projects from concept to completion

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support project managers during the design process

Provide direction to junior engineers assigned to your projects

Attend client and design review meetings as needed

Perform site inspections and support construction administration activities

Coordinate detailed engineering work and ensure technical accuracy

Edit and review project specifications

Balance multiple assignments while maintaining high-quality standards

Actively participate in ongoing professional development and training

Qualifications:

Bachelorâ s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Professional Engineering (PE) license required

10+ years of experience in structural design

Proficient in Revit

Experience with cast-in-place/precast concrete, steel framing, and wood structures

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Previous experience on healthcare-related projects is a plus
