Back-end Engineering Intern

About the role

We are looking for an Intern to join our team in support of our Back-end Engineering team responsible for the deployment of Chloris’ innovative technology by enterprises active in the voluntary carbon markets.

Responsibilities

Design, test, and build the backend software which delivers Chloris Geospatial’s unique insights. Work closely with a Senior Engineering mentor to test, integrate and optimize scientific code bringing it to production

Qualifications

Currently enrolled or recently completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or related field

0-2 years of professional software engineering experience

1-2 years of experience using Python or similar language

Understanding of Object Oriented and Functional Programming paradigms

Independent and self-motivated with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Location + Time Commitment

This position is hourly and will based in Boston. The ability to work from Chloris's Back Bay co-working space periodically is highly desired.
