Responsibilities

Deploys the service to production, including out-of-band releases

Coordinates and oversees any required scheduled maintenance

Monitors the service in production and responds to alerts and incidents

Troubleshoots the service when necessary

Troubleshoots issues with Azure and involves Microsoft to help resolve issues

Monitors and services the Kubernetes infrastructure

Monitors Azure Advisor for security and cost recommendations

Executes secret rotation (including SSL certificates)

Executes drills - failover, backup/recovery

Creates and maintains documentation of standard operating procedures and policies

Part of and assists with managing 24/7 on-call structure of the operations team

Deliver professional solutions in connection with the products and appliances sold by the company

Contact and collaborate with development if needed to solve issues

The role includes on-call availability and possible overtime.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

University degree or equivalent professional experience

KNOWLEDGE

Linux administration/configuration/monitoring

Windows administration/configuration/monitoring

Kubernetes administration/configuration/monitoring

Azure monitoring/management

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Scripting – bash, Power Shell, etc.

Helm administration and charts development

Ability and interest to learn new technology/systems/services
