About the job
This role is crucial for ensuring the security of Kantar’s technology platforms, driving the strategic direction of enterprise security architecture! The impact of this position extends across the organization, safeguarding data and enabling secure cloud adoption. The individual will lead the definition and implementation of security solutions, collaborate on cross-functional initiatives, and provide technical leadership throughout project lifecycles.
Responsibilities include developing and executing strategic security roadmaps, reviewing third-party software risks, and acting as the information security subject matter expert. This role involves close collaboration with technical architects and business partners, fitting seamlessly into the wider Enterprise Architecture team to achieve strategic goals and adapt to technological changes!
Job Goals
Develop and implement strategic security roadmaps to ensure the robustness of Kantar's technology platforms.
Review third-party software risks and implement measures to mitigate them effectively.
Lead the definition and implementation of security solutions across various projects and initiatives.
Collaborate with technical architects and business partners to create seamless and secure solutions.
Integrate into the Enterprise Architecture team, driving innovation and adapting to technological changes.
Establish good relationships with internal and external teams, maintaining clear accountability and frequent communication.
Provide expert guidance on core security issues, such as employee protection, data protection, and device protection.
Ideal Skills & Capabilities
Proficient in security architecture: Ability to communicate and explain complex security concepts to diverse audiences, ensuring clarity and understanding across both technical and business stakeholders.
Problem-solving skills: Demonstrated experience in breaking down complex problems into manageable stages to deliver effective and efficient solutions.
Regulatory and compliance knowledge: Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory standards such as GDPR.
Cloud: demonstrated experience working on Cloud systems, with a clear focus on innovation.
Knowledge of data protection, penetration testing, security auditing, strategic and business plans, threat and risk assessments, systems architectures, IT mapping tools and applications.
Leadership and collaboration: Proven ability to lead and participate actively in a maturing architecture practice, influencing and reaching a wide range of people across larger teams and communities.
Innovative security solutions: Capability to research, apply, and communicate innovative security architecture solutions effectively, ensuring they address both new and existing challenges.
