Experienced Order Picker

ORDER PICKER

Automation Personnel Services is seeking several Experienced Order Pickers for a catalog distribution company in Chattanooga, TN. In this role, you will be expected to pull customer orders correctly using a handheld barcode scanning system and prepare for shipping. Positions have temporary to hire opportunity based on performance over 90 days.

Qualified Candidates MUST have a longevity of 1-plus years of experience in a warehouse or equivalent.

Pay Rates and Bonus:

A shift: $15.50 per hour PLUS a biweekly productivity bonus up to $5 more an hour

B shift: $16.50 per hour PLUS a biweekly productivity bonus up to $5 more an hour

Bonus: Attendance and performance must be in good standing to receive

$50 bonus at 30 days

$100 bonus at 90 days

Schedule and Hours

All shifts currently working 12-hour days 5-days a week

A shift: 6:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday-Friday

B shift: 4:00 pm- 4:00 am Monday-Friday

Order Picker Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Pull orders on each batch

• Ability to walk a lot

• Scan merchandise with a hand scanner

• Stock shelves when needed

• Inventory checks

• Assure that all orders are pulled correctly

Order Picker Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Standing, walking & moving about consistently

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred

• Required to lift 50lbs

• Pay close attention to detail

• High school diploma or GED

• Clear Background Check and Drug Screen Required

• MUST have 2-3 years of related experience in one job to be considered
