We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic, kid-loving individual to step in as a Substitute Teacher at our Island Village Elementary School location in Kissimmee, FL.

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt

PAY: $15.00 per hour

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Jump into engaging, hands-on activities using our Healthy Kids Curriculum—from fitness fun to STEAM projects, academic challenges, creative arts, and more! You’ll even lend a hand with homework help.

Foster a vibrant, safe, and super-fun space where children can flourish. Be the daily role model they can count on.

Keep families in the loop through the Playground App—because sharing special moments and updates makes a difference.

Stay on top of state requirements, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and all the host school guidelines like a true professional.

REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

You're at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma (or equivalent).

While 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 is great, it’s not required—we value passion and potential!

Must pass a background check (fingerprinting, references, SEL & SCR).

CPR and First Aid certified.

Medically cleared by your physician—fit to take on all job responsibilities and free from communicable illnesses, including TB.

You’re outgoing, friendly, and great with people—whether that’s children, parents, or your fellow team. Dependable, professional, and punctual is how you roll.

Able to move, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and stay active to keep up with energetic kids!
