Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Responsibilities:

Responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing items for shipment, and maintaining inventory control.

Must have the ability to use computers and related technology efficiently.

Verify and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and overall condition of shipments.

Verify accuracy of shipments by counting, weighing, or measuring items and comparing size, weight, description, and part number with information on packing slip and purchase orders.

Inspect and record any shipments for discrepancies, damage or defects and notify supervisor if necessary.

Photograph and record all incoming and outgoing shipments and save photos on drives.

Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, including fork lift, pallet jack, and handcart.

Package outgoing shipments and part mark material if required.

Take physical inventory count periodically.

Drive company vehicle to various locations to deliver materials. Obtain authorized signatures for deliveries if required.

Inspect material handling equipment for defects and notify immediate supervisor if found.

Complete training requirements prior to using Forklift.

Follow safety procedures in warehouse at all times.

Maintains company vehicles, refueling, cleaning, oil changes, and inspections.

Responsible for ensuring scrap metal material are disposed of in the appropriate bins for recycling.

Responsible for following shipping and receiving procedures.

Ensure warehouse is well maintained and kept organized.

Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of your knowledge.

Competitive Salary, Based on experience. Hours of operation are Mon-Friday 7:30 a.m-4:00 p.m. Company Match 401(K)Retirement Plan available after one year.
