Overview:

The Global Quality Systems Engineer (QSE) is responsible for managing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure ongoing compliance and audit readiness. This role leads internal audits, supports corrective actions, and collaborates with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to uphold quality across all manufacturing stages. The QSE also plays a key role in maintaining certifications and interfacing with external auditors.

Key Responsibilities:

Support all elements of the company’s manufacturing quality systems, including process qualifications, root cause analysis, and non-conformance containment.

Assist with product and process improvements, engineering changes, and quality initiatives across facilities.

Enhance internal quality processes (e.g., inspections, claims, monitoring) and support departments like Supply Chain and Customer Care to maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification.

Act as the quality liaison for new product development, participating in design reviews, FMEAs, and Advanced Quality Planning.

Develop and maintain internal technical specifications and testing methods.

Analyze warranty claims and customer complaints to drive product/process improvements.

Conduct internal audits and trend analysis to ensure quality compliance and track key metrics.

Requirements:

Engineering degree or equivalent experience required; Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.

8+ years’ experience in manufacturing, quality, or engineering in a global environment.

Strong knowledge of quality systems and audit practices

Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP; strong communication skills.

Experience with APQP, FMEA, 8D, 5 Why, and Six Sigma tools.

Experience working with customers, suppliers, and certification bodies.

Preferred:

Six Sigma Green or Black Belt

ISO 9001 lead auditor

Background in aerospace or forging industries and familiarity with OEM requirements
