Are you ready to take on an exciting new challenge? We are seeking Expressions of Interest for a dynamic Enterprise Architect position based in Sydney, supporting the ANZ region.

In this greenfields role you will draw on your background in either Business Architect or Enterprise Architect roles to proactively & holistically help & guide enterprise leaders, product leaders, product owners & distributed product delivery teams through transformation & optimisation initiatives.

In this pivotal role, the scope of activities includes helping the bank achieve targeted business outcomes related to growing revenue, optimising costs, mitigating risks & improving sustainability. Furthermore, you will make an impact influencing the development of the business & IT strategy & the enterprise architecture of the region.

Top Role Accountabilities:

Facilitating business & IT alignment, connecting strategy to execution, through a collaborative, & consultative manner, driving the banks digital business strategies & balancing innovation & growth

Translating & guiding the execution of business strategy to achieve the bank’s targeted business outcomes by leading the development of an implementation roadmap for the enterprise architecture

Providing consultative advice, to business leaders & organisational stakeholders who will be seeking actionable recommendations to make investment decisions about the next business & operating model of their organisation, using technology to make that change happen

Leading & facilitating interaction with business leaders, product managers & product owners in a business-driven conversation over the risks & implications of a product decision to the line of business, business unit & greater regional enterprise

Adapting to changing business & operating models

Analysing trends & disruptions & assessing their impact on targeted business outcomes

Telling stories to visualise the future state & trigger long-term planning

Supporting various operating models such as project-centric & product-centric

Communicating the value of enterprise architecture, & its portfolio of services

Driving the evolution of the Enterprise Architect services & operating model

Coaching & mentoring other architects, product owners/managers & business stakeholders to instil architectural thinking

Responsible for managing the Target Architecture to support product vision

Engagement & alignment with global counterparts

Establishing a data & analytics architecture that combines regional & global data effectively for data driven decision making & data products

To be successful you will have:

10 years + banking & financial services experience in enterprise architecture or architecture practice lead role

Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment & an agile mindset

Certification/s in TOGAF, Lean Six Sigma or Agile

Expertise in technology-driven business architecture patterns & practices

Excellent communication skills, with an ability to lead discussions effectively

Proven track record in coordinating effective teams to complete tasks / projects

Experience across business, data, application, technology & security architecture domains

Experienced in Digital, Retail or Business Banking
