EDITOR
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Editor is a confident marketing wordsmith who creates and revises accurate, engaging copy for B2B and B2C campaigns. This role reports to the Group Creative Director, and collaborates with other creatives, strategists, project managers, and client service team members. Note this is a full time, temporary role. It is focused on a single project that completes December 2025.
This role is scheduled to last from early May through the end of 2025. East coast hours required. We are eligible to hire candidates located in the following states.
NC, AZ, FL, GA, ME, MI, SC, TN, TX, VT, OH
WHAT WE OFFER:
The salary for this position will range from $47,500-60,000 depending on experience, education, geographical location, and other factors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Write and edit all content types for print, multimedia, digital and social channels
Line edit copy and assets before internal review stage
Assure delivery of high-quality, quick-turn creative assets with minimal oversight
Navigate overlapping and immovable deadlines in partnership with teammates
Participate in brainstorms and ideation sessions, as needed
Assist in the creation of presentation materials to client, as needed
Understand brand guidelines for assigned work. Use client comments to evolve brand and voice expertise of our agency for assigned projects/workstreams.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism or a related field
Experience:
3-5 years of experience as an editor in a fast-paced environment (work at an internal or external agency is highly preferred)
Skills:
Must be able to collaborate with others inside and outside the company
Exceptional writing/edit skills and a high attention to detail
Ability to use words to engage a range of customer segments and move them to desired action
Organized self-starter and independent worker
Copyediting accuracy (CE skills will be assessed during screening process)
MS Office fluency required; Adobe Creative Suite and Figma skills required or need to be acquired quickly after hire.
Familiarity with WCAG 2 guidelines for creating accessible digital content is a plus
