OPENING SOON! Cheeky's is a neighborhood seafood restaurant and oyster bar opening soon along St. Petersburg's Grand Central District. A mix between a salty Old Florida fish shack and a classic New England oyster bar, with a menu of classic American dishes and something for everyone.

We are excited to bring a fresh dining experience to the community, featuring a menu inspired by simple and classic American dishes, seasonal ingredients and bold flavors. Our restaurant is dedicated to creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where guests can enjoy exceptional food and service.

Behind the bar we're shaking up classic drinks and serving frozen cocktails. Our wine list is full of small production and natural bottles. Light local beers on tap and a deep list of no & low alcohol drinks round out the menu. We're an easy-going spot with friendly service, good for the whole family. Grab a seat along our sidewalk patio for great people watching (dog-friendly too!) or in the dining room surrounding our horseshoe bar.

As we prepare for our opening, we are looking for passionate individuals to join our team and help us set a new standard for hospitality in St. Petersburg.

As Server Manager, you'll help to lead a dynamic team and create a memorable dining experience for our guests. Team Responsibilities

Teamwork is the essential element of your position at Cheeky's. Everyone is equally responsible for ensuring the experience of our guests is extraordinary. The words "no" and "it's not my job" are never to be used. Tere are no boundaries in these duties, in addition to the specific job responsibilities listed.

The cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant is everyone's responsibility. Always check the floor, service stations, restrooms, etc. for debris and do not pass it by if you notice that something is needed. If you see something, say something!

Base Salary: $55,000 $65,000

JOB DETAILS

The Service Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining an environment where team members thrive, guests receive exceptional service, and Old Florida hospitality comes to life in fresh, exciting ways. This role balances operational excellence with team development, focusing on building a culture of empowerment and growth.

Team Leadership & Development (40%)

Foster an environment of trust and empowerment

Provide mentorship and career development guidance

Lead daily pre-shift meetings that inspire and educate

Conduct performance reviews and development planning

Identify and nurture future leaders

Create and maintain training programs

Build strong, collaborative relationships across departments

Guest Experience (30%)

Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery

Support team members in making guest-focused decisions

Handle complex guest situations with grace and creativity

Operations Management (20%)

Optimize front-of-house operations and flow

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods

Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping required to serve guests and perform side work.

Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds regularly, such as trays with food and beverages.

Ability to move quickly and efficiently between dining and kitchen areas.

Manual dexterity required for handling small items (e.g., glassware, silverware) and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Work is performed in a fast-paced, indoor and outdoor environment that may include exposure to varying levels of noise and temperature changes.
