Weekly schedule: 5x8.

Schedule Notes: Mon to Fri 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Mon-Fri and are on a weekend rotation)

On Call Requirements: None Description:

Review patient history and medical records prior to assessments and throughout the treatment plan.

Conduct and document comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations. Perform and interpret MBSS procedures - proficiency required.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to determine and adjust individualized treatment plans.

Provide instruction and supervision to support staff in accordance with state and national practice guidelines.

Participate in data collection and quality outcome initiatives. Qualifications:

Education:

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology - Required Licensing/Certification:

California State SLP License - Required

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA - Required

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required Experience:

2+ years of experience in inpatient or acute care settings - Preferred

Proficiency in Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) - Required

MBSImP certification - Preferred, not required

New graduates will be considered if they completed externships or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in an inpatient settin
