Triangle Engineering job description fabrication position
Duties
· Operate press brake to manufacture parts and other components from sheet metal
· Operate punch press to manufacture parts
· Operate arbor press
· Prepare, setup, and adjust press as required by product plans and production schedules
· Inspect products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications
· Straightening and tweaking of parts after returning from weld or heat treat processes
· Deburring and grinding on sheet metal parts
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Perform other duties as assigned
· Willing to learn other job tasks and work in other areas when required
· Operate in a safe fashion
Qualifications
· 2 years experience in sheet metal fabrication
· Strong analytical and math skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Mechanically inclined
· Good record of punctuality and dependability
· Good References
· Basic computer skills
· Own or be willing to purchase hand tools (Calipers, indicators, basic hand tools)
· Self-motivated and have strong problem solving skills
· Able to interpret blueprints and understand tolerances required by customer
· Skilled with measuring tools
· Knowledge of basic layout and forming applications
Physical Requirements
· Physically able to lift 50 pounds at a time
· Prolonged periods of standing and working with hands
· Able to work overtime when required
